i know i suck at this thing! in response to ivy's post, just as an FYI, i do read all of your blogs. i realize i have neglected my own recently and was just made aware that i have been neglecting to comment as well! i follow these things in my google reader (instead of visiting each of your sites) and there's nothing there to prompt me to post. i will be better about this. resolution number 21458963.

i'm going to vegas! i don't imagine the trip will be as magical as it was the first time (when earnest surprised me with a trip for our anniversary) but i'm excited to try out the town with the girls this time. i absolutely adore one of the girls that works for our lab..we're soul mates. so it should be wicked sweet. hopefully i don't break the bank or ruin my credit! i'm not worried about gambling...i don't find any of that appealing in any way. it's the FOOD and DRINKS i'm worried about! earnest is still removed from the working world, and living on one grad student's salary is NOT easy.

but it's not all fun. i'm going for a conference..seems like the absolute worst place in the world for a conference! and there's so many things to do for school while i'm away. 2 papers due the monday i'm back! not to mention the things for later in the week. sigh. ::i love what i'm doing. i love what i'm doing. i love what i'm doing::
